(SAlt) and (Soli) Councillors have called out (NLS) for not supporting the Rally’s Facebook event page. They have called for a shutdown of the SRC during the rally. (Gra) (SLS) support the shutdown. After initially rejecting the shutdown, Lachlan Ward (NLS) admitted to being open to the idea to accept the motion if SRC Caseworking and Legal Services are agreeable to a 1 – 3pm shutdown of the SRC during the rally on Wednesday 16 March 2016. 18:44 – Motion Q1 ‘Solidarity with the Let Them Stay campaign’ passes with the amendment that ALL Councillors should protest the appearance of Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, the Hon Peter Dutton MP at a Young Australians for a Constitutional Monarchy event in Sydney on 10 March 2016.
